Life, personal & social science.
Life sciences consist of the study of living things such as plants and animals. Personal science can be best described as people using science to solve their own specific problems. This is a growing field today, not among scholars but amungst science minded people. Social science is the broad field of society, human interactions, and individual human behavior. There are many professions and fields of study surrounding this topic.
Earth & space science
Earth science can be best described as all sciences related to the planet earth. This is a very large topic and can cover a vast wealth of information. This is sometimes considered cross over with space sciences because earth is the only life harboring planet that we know of as of now. Space science is the study of outer space, this can also be called astronomy and is a rapidly growing field as we can travel farther and farther into space.
Physical science & chemistry
Physical science involves the branches of natural science that encompasses non-living things. This is an overall definition but there are some anomalies because of the fact that physical science can include biological phenomena. Chemistry is obviously the best subject and is generally considered to have the best scholars. The definition of chemistry is the science of matter, the chemical reactions, properties, as well as its structures.
Technology & engineering
Technology is the usage, making, and modification of tools, machines, systems, and crafts. This is obviously one of the most rapidly growing fields in science as everything we do in and out of science must use the latest tech. In order to effectively study any of the other fields we must interact with technology. Engineering is the science of Acquiring and applying the knowledge required to design and construct structures, machines, devices, and systems.
Inquiry & nature of science.
Inquiry is simply any process with the end goal of acquiring knowledge. The nature of science is a very general subject but can be interpreted as a way of understanding everything in the known universe. The nature of science is to be used as a tool for discovery and knowledge.
